Surfhouse Motel - Encinitas

The staff were very responsive and amiable and took care of me. The location was magnificent and fantastic for getting around, as a train station was close to the hotel. Tried some nice meals at Pandora's Pizza, located close to the property.

The rooms are new-fashioned and fancy, with super beds. It offers a nice and magnificent location and has amicable staff.

Absolutely impeccable.

We enjoyed coffee and tea at breakfast.

great access to beaches and parks for city explorers

We loved the quick walk to Encinitas Beach County Park, just a few steps away, and the nearby San Diego Botanic Garden with beautiful views, made our weekend strolls even better.

It was just an ideal choice for one night in Encinitas with high value for money. The room service was very nice and engaged. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise from the train nearby.

Encinitas is super chill, lots of artistic vibe and close to the beach. The Quadruple Room was awesome, with four beds and a private bathroom. A parking spot right in front is a huge plus. They have beach cruiser bikes to borrow, pretty cool. Would be even better with height-adjustable seats!

Spacious room, charming decoration, the unique option of having four single beds in one room is perfect for families or friends, and the convenience of having free parking right in front plus beach access is a definite bonus.

Stayed at surfhouse motel for 3 nights and loved it! The quadruple room was perfect for our family, equipped with fun decor and space. Just a quick walk to the beach, and having our own parking spot was a bonus. The free beach cruiser bikes were a hit with the kids, too! It would be nice to have some tools to adjust the bike seats, though.

Family with children surfing paradise

We loved the fact that the place had its own board rental service, made grabbing a surfboard super easy. Plus, they had some amazing local recommendations for places to eat, like that taco spot Fish 101 that hit the spot after a long day at the beach!

The room was really big and even had a walk-in shower. Plus, there was a fridge and some glasses ready to use 🥤.

The setting was marvelous and excellent, close to the beach and a coffee shop. A suburb of Encinitas close to the beach and the farmers market. Popped into Steampunk Pub and Grill for shots before sleep, it was just a pleasant stroll away from the venue.
